What are my responsibilities when training models or uploading images?

When using Gerhard to train AI models or PicShot to create product images, it’s important to ensure that you have the appropriate rights to the images you upload. Here’s what you need to know:

  • For Gerhard AI Model Training:

    • Ownership and Usage Rights: You must ensure that the images you use to train your AI model belong to you and that you have the rights to use them commercially and for AI training. This is crucial because the model you create will generate new images based on the training data you provide.

    • Responsibility: Gerhard cannot technically verify if the images you use for training belong to you or if you have the necessary rights to use them. It is your responsibility to ensure that the content you upload is legally compliant and that you have the appropriate permissions.

  • For PicShot Product Image Creation:

    • Product and Background Images: When uploading product images or backgrounds into PicShot, you must have the rights to use these images commercially. Whether the product image is your own creation or the background is sourced from another creator, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate usage rights.

    • Responsibility: Similar to Gerhard, PicShot cannot technically verify the ownership or rights associated with the images you upload. You must ensure that you have the legal rights to use these images in the way you intend.
